I like crafts... I'm not overly creative but I enjoy crafty type things where maybe I have an example to follow -- for example, I LOVE Elf Day when there are cool things to make for the holidays... but I'm pretty much OCD and like to make my item look as close as possible to the sample... this is usually because a) it's adorable and b)I don't have to figure out if "this" matches "that" and goes with "the other".
I've been interested in digital scrapbooking for a while... I've downloaded tons and tons of kits but for the most part I haven't done a whole lot with them because it requires some creative thinking... this is a problem (see above).
I decided that I wanted to make Emily a "homemade" valentine to hand out this year -- I've seen some really adorable cards and figured I could make her something I liked better than the boxes of cards that we inevitably buy at the store every year. I didn't have a whole lot of time so I borrowed and copied liberally from one of the kits I have and yes, it's pretty basic but really --

not too bad for my first try and Emily loved it. Now I feel like I could get a little more fancy... I need to channel my inner Martha Stewart!

That looks great! I bet all her friends loved it too. YEAH YOU!
Don't do it like Martha, she is full of crap!!! I love that you did homemade Valentine's, we did that with Mackenzie's class.
So cute! Who knew that you are becoming more like me as time goes by!
That's cool!
